Zipper Enclosure
Installation Instructions
Note: All enclosures are folded inside out.
If you have a Blue Dot or Eagle windshield, you will have to cut the windshield hold-ups off.
- Enclosure
- Windshield retrofit kit - (2) rubbers and (4) screws.
- Zipper Extrusion hardware kit (4) pieces.
- Do not cut the box - only cut the tape.
- Lay the enclosure in the plastic bag on top of the golf car top.
- If you have a windshield on your car, you must remove it before proceeding.
- Pull the enclosure out of the bag. The enclosure is folded as a tri-fold.
- Unfold the enclosure - the tri-fold. Do not pull the sides down yet. The enclosure will be the full length of the golf car top
- Find the pocket - this is the part of the enclosure that will go to the front of the car and fit over the front of the top.
- Put the pocket over the front of the car and go to the rear of the car and pull the enclosure tight to the back.
- Pull the sides and back down.
- Unzip the bead from the door.
- Thread the top piece of extrusion up the bead of the enclosure on both sides of the car.
- Take the windshield an put the bottom extrusion on the windshield and re-attach the windshield to the car.
- Feed the bead down through the bottom extrusion while attaching the top to the car. The windshield should be in the folded down position.
- Tighten the back corner straps.
- If the enclosure fits - remove the paper from the clear windows.
- Now you need to install the windshield rubber kit. This will now hold your windshield in the up position.
Note: All Club Car Enclosures come with at least (2) snaps. These two snaps are for the front doors.
Secret: Leave some play (expansion/contraction) room around each snap.
- Install the enclosure as described above.
- Let the sides hang where they fall.
- Zip the front zipper of the front door down.
- Put the snaps from top to bottom in the front side of the door. Snap them as you install them.
- Pull the door tight and put the snap in the bottom of the back of the door. Again, snap them as you install them.
- Zip the zipper down between the door and the rear quarter panel.
- Pull the wrinkles out of the quarter panel and install the rear quarter panel snap. This should fall approximately around the last attachment of the scuff guard.
- Repeat this for both sides.
